Panatron PXT 308 PABX 3 Lines 8 extension PXT 308

The Panatron PXT 308 PABX is a telephone exchange system designed for small to medium-sized businesses or offices. It offers the following features:

  1. Normal Transform Power: The PABX operates using standard power supply for normal functioning.

  2. Switch Power (Optional): The system can be equipped with an optional switch power feature, allowing it to switch to an alternative power source, such as a backup generator, in case of a power outage.

  3. Backup Battery Interface (Optional): The PABX can be connected to a backup battery system, providing uninterrupted operation during power failures.

  4. Power Failure Transfer: In the event of a power failure, the system automatically transfers incoming calls to a predefined backup line, ensuring calls can still be received during outages.

  5. External Line Caller ID: The PABX supports the display of caller identification information for incoming calls from external lines, enabling users to see the caller's phone number or name, if available, on their telephone display.

  6. Auto-Attendant (DISA-20s three paragraphs): The PABX includes an auto-attendant feature, also known as Direct Inward System Access (DISA). It allows callers to navigate a menu system to access different extensions or departments. The auto-attendant provides a pre-recorded message (OGM) with up to three paragraphs, each lasting 20 seconds. Optionally, the OGM can be extended to 60 seconds or 90 seconds.

  7. Transfer Caller ID: When a call is transferred from one extension to another, the PABX retains the caller identification information, ensuring the recipient knows who is calling.

  8. Intercom Caller ID: The system displays caller identification information for intercom calls, enabling users to identify the caller before answering the call.

  9. Outgoing Message Recording: Users can record outgoing messages for specific purposes, such as after-hours greetings or department-specific announcements.

  10. Internal Music on Holding: When callers are placed on hold, the PABX can play background music or recorded messages to entertain or inform the callers.

  11. Remote Programming: The PABX supports remote programming, allowing authorized personnel to make configuration changes or adjustments to the system settings from a remote location.

  12. Memory Protect While Power Off: The PABX has a memory protection mechanism that ensures programmed settings and configurations are preserved even during power outages. This means the system retains its configuration when power is restored.

  13. Auto/Operator Mode: The PABX can be set to either auto mode or operator mode. In auto mode, incoming calls are automatically routed to the appropriate extension or department based on the caller's input or menu selection. In operator mode, incoming calls are directed to a receptionist or operator who manually routes the calls to the intended recipients.

These features make the Panatron PXT 308 PABX an efficient and reliable communication system, allowing businesses to manage multiple lines and extensions effectively while providing useful functionalities for callers and users alike.
